Section 352 of the USA PATRIOT ACT requires that all “financial institutions,” which include dealers in precious metals, stones or jewels, to establish and maintain an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) program.

Section 326 requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account or changes an existing account.
